Is this my personal Codex reset time?
No. The headline tracks public global usage-limit resets. Your personal rolling windows are account-specific; use the exact time shown by the Codex usage page or limit banner in the private countdown above.
Why can today be different for two people?
Today is a calendar date in a timezone. A reset announced shortly after midnight UTC can still belong to the previous day in the Americas, so the selected timezone is part of every verdict.
What does EXPECTED mean?
A public future-reset signal or official window is active, but no completed reset has been verified yet. EXPECTED is never treated as YES.
What does DATA STALE mean?
The live monitor is overdue or unavailable. The page still shows its last structurally valid evidence and timestamp, but it does not present that evidence as a fresh current verdict.
Can this page see my Codex account or usage?
No. It has no OpenAI account access. A pasted limit message is parsed only in the current tab and is not stored or sent. Only a reset timestamp you explicitly accept can be saved in localStorage for the private countdown.
What is a banked reset?
A banked reset is a reset credit that eligible users can apply separately from an automatic global reset. OpenAI says eligible Plus and Pro banked resets are usable for 30 days after grant.
